Sheep importation for Eid El Adha
Oran Port Company has received the largest shipment of imported sheep in the country As part of the sheep import operation in preparation for Eid al-Adha, the vessel EPSILONK, arriving from Spain, docked today at the Port of Oran at the Senegal Quay (No. 08), carrying the largest shipment of sheep received at Algerian ports to date. This operation forms part of the efforts made by the national public authorities to ensure the supply of the domestic market and the provision of sacrificial animals under the best possible conditions, whilst complying with all applicable health and regulatory requirements. Oran Port Company remains fully mobilised, deploying all its human and logistical resources to ensure the smooth running of unloading and handling operations under optimal conditions in terms of efficiency and safety.
